Don’t underestimate religion regarding war, crumbling economies and all the rest. All our pressing problems like oil, life-style and so on are just a mirage of self-congratulatory understanding, which, however, disappears with the reality that the strife, the Fitna, continues, with other pressing problems becoming the stage props hiding the stucture staging all the continuing hell.
If you want to find out more, really, about the murderous intrigue of interreligious politics, hit the blog header to go to the table of contents and scroll down to all the opening pages of the Trilogy. You won’t regret leaving the shallowness of Fitna rubbish behind, the shallowness that only invites more violence. I especially challenge Muslims to read Book 1 of the Trilogy. Many Muslims are already reading, and Jews, and Catholics, and athiests, and agnostics, and….
Anyway, about Jesus’ conception, just to say, the old Jewish priest Zachariah didn’t have much to say at this stage, did he? He had time to think about it. He would have something to say after a few months about God’s ways being above our ways, and about God coming among us to show us mercy, God, who is not afraid of the justice. More about all that later.
